Elaine waking up

This video was taken on May 19th.

We realize that Lainey being SO easy now probably means that she'll be a monster from age 6 months on, so we're trying to get as much footage of her ridiculous cuteness now as we possibly can. She takes a luxuriously long nap in the morning now (from around 9 am until about 1 pm) and when she wakes up she clearly feels great. She just lays there in her crib making little peeps until I come in to fetch her, at which point she starts flashing her huge, Buddah-like grin. It's one of the 500 or so best parts of the day with Elaine.

You really do have to take as much video as you can. They really do grow fast. My kids are now heading into middle school. I can barely remember when they were this little. But when you pull out those videos, it all comes back. You will treasure this one day.
